How it all began…
One Bark Avenue The home of the stylish dog as we like to think of it, was established in March 2021.
We are a pet accessory store, based in Whitley Bay, in the North East of England.
We are Friends Helen and Andy and the idea for a business came about after we got puppies Teddy the Jack Russell and Winnie the Dachshund, and fell in love with them.
We first set out making accessories for our own dogs and after receiving lovely comments about them we decided to launch our own small business, making accessories for other dogs.
All of our products are designed and lovingly handmade by ourselves. We first began to gift our items to family and friends, and before we knew it we had launched our items for sale on Etsy. The business had grown steadily over the first few months and we decided to launch www.onebarkavenue.co.uk on the 1st of August 2021, just 5 months later.
The website was also all designed and set up by ourselves. Basically everything is done by us. We just love our business so much!!
With the dream of opening our own retail shop one day. We are constantly working away on new stock ranges and exciting new styles. While working full time at other jobs or studying at Uni. Yeah we are a busy lot.

We source quality materials from other local small businesses, or online again from small businesses. As we like to do our bit to support others.

We also have a team of brand ambassadors.
